"Very basic hotel but had the best night sleep. Clean, safe and within walking distance to the train station. Easy!"

"We stayed for a couple nights because we were taking a tour (with Oxalis, which was amazing) to see the Phong Nha caves. Even with the short amount of time spent at this hotel it was tremendously terrible. Most important point: we had no hot water! Staff told us to switch a plug up and wait 15 mins, which was already ridiculous, after waiting we still had to shower in the cold. If you are looking for a place to eat, there is nothing remotely close by. The wifi was nonexistent. No point trying to...

"The room was probably what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. You needed to ask for a kettle, no safe - so no place to leave valuables. The big plus for the room is the location of the hotel. A great location right opposite the beach."

"Hotel wasn’t open and had no notice of our booking. Looked like a family may have just bought it and was renovating it. They were fantastic!! Made us up a bungalow with a sea view and made us feel so welcome. Couldn’t fault them at all. Would definitely recommend this place when it’s up and running again. All the promenade and sea defenses have been destroyed by the typhoon but they are busy reconstructing them and we did manage to access the beach. "
