"A great base for exploring Milan, this is a comfortable and very good value hotel. We stayed in room 234, and while there was some noise at night from the trains it was minimal and not an issue - you're staying in the middle of a very busy city, it's to be expected. Was a little surprised that the shower over the jacuzzi bath was just an extension with no bracket to secure at the top; if you're large in anyway, it isn't very comfortable. Did need to ask at reception how to fill the bath without...

"First of all, the staff at Il Perlo Panorma is exceptional. They were so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived and had booked the Basic Room. It was ok, but since it was our 20 th anniversary, we asked about upgrading the room. The Junior Suite was available. They handle our room switch while we were away, moved our luggage and the Suite was amazing. We literally didn't want to leave the room. It had a huge balcony with stunning views of Bellagio and the lake, wonderful...
