"I felt so welcome the moment I walked onto the property. It’s a very secure place and I felt very safe, especially as a female, solo traveler. "The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish."

"Be aware they have rooms without AC, they gave us a fan only room. We were supposed to get a Junior suite and it was nothing like the picture. Not enough towels for the three guests, small beds, close to the reception so the noise early in the morning was not fun at all. Property is nice, cold water pool was been clean so we couldn’t use it for day and a half. Good food, decent drinks prices."
