"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. You are so close to Manuel Antonio park and the beach with a good choice or bars and restaurants. La Vela Boutique has a small pool which is not busy so getting a sunbed in the afternoon isn’t a problem. Big shout out to the pizza chef who managed to prepare and cook 2 superb pizzas during a power cut under the torchlight of an iPhone. A great place to stay.."

"We enjoyed our stay! This hotel lived up to the reviews and photos. Rooms were basic and very clean. The pool was nice, surrounded by lovely plants and flowers. "Everything about the room and property was wonderful. I can't say enough of how thoughtfully well appointed was the room. They thought of everything in anticipation of guests needs, including sensors, unlimited coffee and lighting. The staff was incredible and especially the reception attendant Caleb, who helped us with sights and restaurant suggestions. Will be back if we come this way again.
