"I was not impressed with the modern flair. The beauty of a elegant hotel for me is the richness of quality period furniture and decor. Mixes the two (modern with historic ) doesn't work. The transgender desk clerk was a bit much. A bid hard to look at, its' personality was acceptable. The rooms were also modernized. We have stayed here in the past. It was disappointing to see this change of mood in the hotel. Overall it was okay."

"This hotel needs a little work. Not horrible. Just a little run down. The room was pretty clean. No complaints there. Just the hall ways. Elevator reminds me of a shady apartment complex. Lots of rust. Paint wearing off etc. the oool and hot tub were okay. It’s a good location as you are right in The center of Marquette. Price was a little steep over $200. I’ve stayed at much nicer properties for less. That week was graduation weekend for the local university. NMU. So they could...

"Clean, new(ish). Pool wasn't open when we checked in but the exercise room was clean, well-stocked and easy to use (24 hrs/day). Two nits to pick -- the mattresses were rather hard. And there were no bedside lamps -- only an overhead lamp in between the two beds for which the switch was on the wall requiring you to get out of bed to turn off the light.
Otherwise, it was great. Would stay there again."

"Our stay was amazing! We celebrated Family Christmas up at this resorts cabin. The owners/staff absolutely amazing. As far as pet friendly, there 2 lil puppers like to escape and come visit the guests. ( super friendly ) however my familys dog is as social so we waited till the other dogs were w family inside. The property was very clean and well maintained, we will return for another stay in the future."
