"This was my second time staying at Hotel Heidinger. The room was clean, and the view was awesome. The last time I stayed, I remember the bed was very comfortable. This time the mattress was very hard, and the pillows are hard, and your head doesn't sink down into the pillow like a normal pillow. "Staff were very accommodating allowing us access to our room early after the overnight bus trip from Lima. Breakfast was provided and good with fresh juice, bread and coffee. The facility is undergoing renovations. In addition, all amenities noted on their website are not applicable to all rooms. Good location and convenient stay (value) overall."

"This place is amazing for a quite time with your loved ones. You have pristine mountain forests within walking distance and be prepared to lovely and ugly bugs in the surroundings. The rooms and service and superb but don´t expect five-stars service. Please remember you are in the middle of nowhere and not everything is available on demand. If you are in the mood for nocturnal photo safaris this place is a dream but be aware of the need of a local guide to bring you back home."
