"Stayed there 5 nights, none came to clean the room or change towels. On 4th day we asked them to clean the room, they didn’t.
Kinda tricky with their fees, they’ll charge you €300 deposit like if it’s a fancy casino. There was small damages all over the room that makes you think they’ll take that €300 claiming you did it. when I left I get €35 charged for something I still don’t know what is it for.
Their dryer don’t work, after u pay and wait 50 mins u find out.
They have small shared yard...

"Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but the staff offered up a drink while the room was readied. Very nice and responsive in addressing the problem. The fire alarm went off around 7 am our first morning. Went on for a good 10 minutes. Annoying but ultimately a non-event. No explanation was given; no contact from the staff. We still don’t know what happened. The room was clean and the facility was safe. Would stay here again"

"Aix is a very nice place. Hope to come back. But we will find another hotel.
I expected a proper hotel, given its three star rating and the listing photos: Lobby, regular building, private rooms. Instead, this is like an American motel; no privacy since the rooms face a courtyard with people passing by — and frequently smoking— outside the window. Shower has a half door, with no drain on the bathroom floor, hence the floor flooded after a shower. And a limp handheld shower head which...

"We booked last minute and the room was perfect. The hotel is tiny, the room was tiny but we didn't care at all about the size because it was so comfortable, clean, warm, quiet and private. It was at the top of 3 flights of narrow stairs that were perhaps a little challenging with suitcases but it didn't matter, it was totally worth the effort, because the experience was so romantic. We spent a lot of time soaking in the little bathrub, a rather rare find in more modern, "convenient" hotels.
