"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. "Beautiful hotel, we can see it’s aiming to be much higher star rating, fabulous surroundings. "

"The property looks a bit stark from the outside. On approaching the entrance we found that some of the sets were loose, which is a trip hazard, particularly for the elderly. Inside the bar and restaurante area were excellent, particularly with the terrace over looking open country. We had an excellent meal there. The downside was that the rooms were a bit old fashioned. The shower over the bath should changed and modernised."

"Excellent area & facilities. Unfortunately it was cold & the radiators in our room didn’t work - it was obvious they needed servicing. The restaurant food was very good but our steak order was taken by an unpleasant man. Breakfast was good but with offhand service from a different man. Never felt valued guests. "
