"The hotel has no sign on the facade, and it was stressing to find it without that. There is no concierge and the registration is strange, with a WhatsApp communication to a staff member, having to take picture of the passport and send it over via WhatsApp or email, which is strange and concerning. Also concerning is a “contract” that we are asked to sign in order to get access to the building. I found the process very strange and concerning. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber man ist sehr nah an der Donau, aber kann auch vom Haus aus Wanderungen unternehmen. Krems, Melk und Spitz sind mit Auto oder Fahrrad leicht zu erreichen. "The attractive hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of the old city. Parking was provided across the street. Our room was compact but very well designed, bright and fresh feeling. There was also a small balcony with seating that was a pleasant place to view the activity in the square. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. My husband has some mobility limitations and I was concerned that the hotel has no elevator. I explained this at booking and was appreciated being given a room on the first floor, up only one flight with a good railing."
