" Large five story seafront hotel with probably seven acres of surrounding property. Beach was largely pebble with tiki shade/lounges and towel areas perhaps extending to 300 feet along the coast. Several areas designed for children seemed to be well maintained. The entire hotel has apparently been recently upgraded with new paint/tiling/balcony fixtures/etc. Room was average size with comfortable king bed and simple furniture from the 21st century. Breakfast was nice with numerous choices....

"We had a beautiful view of the beach and sea from our balcony. The staff made us feel at home. Swimming in the sea was wonderful and warm. There were no additional charges for the beach lounges. All prices were very reasonable. The staff seemed dedicated to making us comfortable. The food was excellent. "

"The property is stunning – the pool, the rooms, and the breakfast were all excellent. The highlight of our stay was Elena, who manages the place. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and truly welcomed. Her hospitality was outstanding and made the experience feel like staying with family. "We had a relaxing stay at the Erato. The staff is friendly and helpful. They prepare a nice breakfast where you can relax in a covered patio. Its down the street from some great restaurants with plenty of shopping opportunities from local mergents. The hotel is just a short walk from the marina where the ferries drop you off and pick you up for your return to Athens. The front desk staff helped us order ferry tickets and printed them for us. We highly recommend this hotel when you visit Aegina!"

"This was the perfect stay. Alex could not have been more gracious or helpful. We loved our room (#8) and could not have been happier with the location. Cool 1826 Neoclassical building with tall ceilings and right in the thick of things on the port. Superb all the way. Six stars if there was an extra for helpful staff."

"The hotel room was really lovely. It was bigger than other accommodations we had in Greece; very clean and comfortable with hangers and drawers and places to put our luggage. There are outlets near the beds for plugging in devices. A fan and an iron were available upon request. The breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was very nice and extended until 10:30 which we really appreciated so we didn't need to rush the morning. "
