"The property is breathtaking! Absolutely beautiful.
Staff was kind. The lodge was stayed in was comfortable and spacious. The view from the balcony was stunning. Wish there was one more restaurant in the property. There are times when the only restaurant does not offer food service so plan your tours etc accordingly. The restaurant functions on island time so pack your patience. "Sonia and Alfred are exceptional hosts I left feeling I was saying goodbye to my family very special ! The variety, quality of wine and cocktails are another level ! "Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors...

"Our stay at Playa Tortuga was unfortunately very disappointing. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the property is poorly maintained. The overall cleanliness of the place was lacking, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition—there was no shower head, visible stains on the walls and fixtures, and we even encountered roaches, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning.
