"Great place to stay in Como"

"The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. I booked four nights and when I arrived they had upgraded my room to one with a Lake Como view! I didn’t realize breakfast was included and enjoyed their large elegant Buffett each morning. When I left very early on my last day they had taken it upon themselves to pack a breakfast and provided hot coffee to go."

"This hotel is amazing and good value for money. Great location in the centre of town in the shopping district and just a short walk to the ferry terminal and the train stations. All the staff were very helpful and are able to offer tips on things to do in Como. The room was pleasant - nespresso machine, kettle and tea and coffee included. " We do not recommend this hotel: There was a very strong and disgusting moldy smell in our room as well as in the hotel corridors leading to our room. Even the bed linen had a moldy smell. No sleep war possible because we had to cough all night long and felt nauseated due to the moldy smell being harmful to health. The breakfast was a poor quality buffet with baguette, that was stone hard. These conditions are an absolute imposition and an unacceptable outrageousness. Our polite complaint...
