"Just a perfect location to cruise around in downtown Vancouver including making it over to English Bay Beach and checking out all the restos and the street food.

"We spent three nights at the Tuwanek in late July for my partner’s birthday, and it was exactly the kind of quiet, scenic retreat we were hoping for. The setting right on the inlet is the real draw — waking up to that view every morning made it hard to leave the room. Rooms were beautifully appointed and spotless, and the little touches (spa services, quality products) made it feel like a proper occasion rather than just a place to sleep.

"We stayed 3 nights in May. The property is located directly on the ocean and you have access to a private dock with chairs to go sit and relax while watching wildlife. We did get the chance to see some orca whales in the distance and some sea lions.
The property could be wonderful if it was well maintained. It shows it's age. Our room was clean, but the carpet was stained everywhere and was now grey and black in some areas instead of beige. The mattress, while comfortable, is sagging and shows...
