"We had a wonderful stay at the Clifton Hotel in Folkestone! Long scenic walks to the harbour, delicious dining at the Marco Pierre White Chophouse, and the truly exceptional restaurant staff—who also brightened our morning at breakfast—made the experience unforgettable. The ambient bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and a little Costa Coffee bar available. Every member of the hotel team was warm, polite, and welcoming. They made us feel so looked after. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. "The location within the cathedral grounds is a special feature. Lovely to wander around in the evening and easy for the restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space.
