"Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable. We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts. Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting. A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended. "

"Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. "

"My husband and I loved our stay at the Bush House. We stayed there for three nights and wish we could have stayed more. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. "We enjoyed our stay @ Safari Plains. Arriving we were received by such friendly faces. The Luxury Tented Chalet we stayed in were overlooking the field where the game came to graze. We enjoyed the morning & afternoon game drives with the well informed guide, Ben. On our first night we had an open air dinner prepared by the chef and staff, it was amazing! We most definately recommend a stay at this 5 star lodge it will be an experience you'll never forget. ALL the staff made our stay fantastic. "

"Marataba is different from other safari lodges. First there are only two lodges in the whole park which means no crowds. Game drives where incredible with Big 5 viewings, but specially one of the 5 (won't Say for conservation issues) is everywhere. The mounitain and the view just makes this place magic. "Everything met our expectations and more. Staff was very helpful with everything. Very exiting game drives. Truly amazing. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are definitely 5 stars. Food was outstanding most of the time. You have a luxurious feeling when there is a limit of 10 occupants on the lodge. Recommended 100% from our side!"
