Nos tocó una habitación preciosa con una vista espectacular.
Vale la pena hospedarse en este hotel, aunque no es muy barato.
Tiene su propia playa y se puede bajar al mar desde el área de la piscina también.
Creo que es más útil, porque la playa es de piedras y es muy complicado caminar por ella.
En general un sólido 9 de 10."

"The hotel was just OK. Pretty dated and not sure if it was damaged because of the storm or they were just doing it up but wasn't great. Pancrazio was really nice in the bar but only really breakfast served in terms of food. Not an issue as we wanted to eat out but dont expect much in the way of food at hotel. Overall the hotel was just ok, paying mostly for the location which to be fair is very good as long as your mobile. Please don't book if you cant make it up and down the very steep hill...

"Hotel was good overall
Location is really great with Taormina's main high street areas 10 min walk away
The pool area is also so nice with beautiful views of the surrounding hills
However, the public areas really need attention, as the reception, lobby, dining areas, bedroom corridors and lift etc . . . are terrible and look like they have not been updated since the 1960s
Not being able to use the pool until 9.30 and after 6 pm is also rather annoying
Breakfast is good though
Also bad advice...

"Just had a wonderful week with my two adult children. Extremely beautiful hotel that lives up to all its glowing reviews. Lovely location with stunning views and a few minutes from central town and next to a park which is lovely to stroll through. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a box of tissues in the rooms! Very quiet rooms, but the air con units are quite loud, but needed in the heat! "We had a comfortable stay at Excelsior Palace Hotel. The pool was fantastic and a real highlight of the property. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good choice for a relaxing stay."
