Fantastic stay, warm welcome from the staff, room was clean, sofa bed easy to set up with fresh sheets in place. The gym is amazing.

The property was completely refurbished and reopened in April 2026. A very high standard specification, with warm coastal decor in guest rooms and public spaces. Would recommend.

Brian on the desk made us feel very welcome and gave us a great introduction to the hotel. This boutique hotel had so many pleasing extras that i havn't seen before in any hotel in my extensive travels.... Doubt whether i will be back in Vancouver Island but if i was then Sidney and the Beacon Inn would be my first choice and i would strongly recommend. Beacon Brewing down the street was an added bonus........

Really enjoyed our stay in Sidney - the hotel is on the waterfront and close to all amenities with excellent restaurants nearby. The town has a relaxed atmosphere with good shops. A quiet, relaxed alternative to staying in Victoria. Easy access to ferry terminal. Rooms at Sidney Waterfront Inn were clean and a decent size. The hotel was quiet overnight. Reception staff very helpful. Parking on site and buffet breakfast included.

This is a beautiful resort on a small island between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It inhabits a peaceful bay with lovely facilities. You do need some form of transportation to get around the Island and we had a hire car for that purpose. But the accommodation, the staff, the location and the experience were all top rate.

Stayed here with my family for just one night but would thoroughly recommend. This is not your typical hotel in that you book and communicate online but the service is great. Really nice clean room with great amenities. The village is really nice too with coffee shops, restaurants and supermarket. Location great as right near the waterfront. As I mentioned, you communicate via email but guest services extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again and actually preferred to some fully...

I was so pleasantly surprised by the room. I was expecting it to be comfortable but a little run down. It was certainly comfortable, but also modern and spotless. The location could not have been better and my expectations were surpassed in every way. Michael deserves a shout out for being a friendly, helpful, face. Highly recommended for great value and great stay.

Lovely welcome on arrival and very accommodating with the ++ pillows for the family. Decent breakfast selection. Bit tight of a breakfast time for later risers on vacation 6-9am but manageable at a push with teenagers.
