"Everything about Royal Cliff is absolutely stunning. The views are unbeatable, the pool is beautiful and the service is amazing. My ONE complaint that would prevent me from staying again was the fact that I was moved twice due to a mildew smell in the room and every single room (even the one i stayed in for a week) had this awful STRONG odor of mildew. Everything else was phenomenal but the smell truly was a problem. Staff were kind and helpful but there didn’t seem to be a real solution to this...

"Kid friendly place. I enjoyed the calmness and serenity. Highly recommended for a whole family getaway especially the villas with private pool. Very friendly staff but only a few are fluent in English but they are trying their best to communicate. Three dining experience on-site. Best breakfast buffet. A lot of choices! great for brunch!"

Very good and accommodating personnel. I was appalled however, that such a classy hotel charges 100 baht per set of cutlery and plate, and the housekeeping removes it the next day. These cheap tricks don’t suit such a classy hotel."

The location was in the middle of no where and if you want to go into town, you have to take a grab or bolt. There is a hotel shuttle but it’s only at 2pm and 6pm. The “beach” is a dirty short strip of beach. You could walk the entire length in less than 3 mins. The hotel overall is old and cobwebs every corner. The staff are not helpful at all.
