"The staff was very impolite and unprofessional. During my three-day stay, no cleaning service was provided at all. There were no amenities, and guests are basically left on their own at this motel. I would not recommend staying here."

"I didn’t like the stay! Carpet / Floor is old and the bathroom is mildew smell. I wanted the non smoking and turn out getting the smoke room. I ensure when first open the room, it’s fully weeded smell, I came down to the front desk and ask to change to another room, I got is, mam, the room is nonsmoking but if you want to change I will change to another room. "This is and will be my go to lodging when up in Oakland or SF. Can’t beat the price! And the wonderful young lady at check in gave us a floor room with water view !!! No upcharge. My kids had a blast! Just being in a place like that. We are in between rentals and this was a total silver lining while we are going through this process. Thank you staff !"

"Loved my stay! Beautiful historic building, clean and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The boutique atmosphere made it feel much more special than a typical hotel. Once you step inside, it feels like you're somewhere on vacation in Europe. No elevator, but actually the staircase was beautiful (and manageable). Courtyard was charming too. They keep the building secured by giving you an access code. Good restaurants nearby. Excellent value. Would definitely stay again."

"If you like the price then don’t complain about the condition of the property, the dogs barking in other rooms or people talking outside your door late into the night. Other wise, it’s a clean simple room with run down built ins, and a clean bathroom. Ask for second floor water front for a more quiet stay.
