"Lovely stay on the waterfront - parking can be a little tricky to spot the entrance, but once located easy to access.
Nice breakfast and great location. "
"Staff really friendly and helpful. Location couldn’t be better just a few minutes to the beach. Overall we would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Aberystwyth."
"This was our third stay at The Brigands. We keep coming back due to (in no particular order) its charm, character, great staff, great restaurant/pub, and breakfast offering. "
"Beautifully situated in the Welsh hillsides with fantastic views and at the side of a waterfall this 230 year old coaching inn is modern in all requisites and is maintained in superb condition gaining 5/5 in hygiene standards. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home."
"Quick and easy check in. Room had been recently renovated and had everything needed and was very clean throughout with soft fluffy towels and fresh smelling linens.
Food was great quality both at breakfast and from the main menu later in the day. Make sure you book if you want a table for dinner as it is very popular.
All staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at the Royston. We both opted in for the 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. Worth staying in a wet Welsh evening. We really appreciated how as a dog friendly establishment they cater for our dog. Treats in a room and lots of fuss.
Lovely small touches like fresh homemade cookies in the room , great full cooked fry up in the morning. Great sized room , with en suite . "

Good
The beach is amazing when the tide is out and the estuary is beautiful. There are limited shops and its more tricky to find things to do when its tipping it down, especially when you are not self catering.

Excellent
Love the little charming town. We weren't expecting to like it so much and we're planning to come back. It is a perfect destination to relax, recharge and rest. Wish we had more days available to extend our stay

Felt that the area could do with a bit of tidying up - pub fronts painted and windows cleaned to take pride in welcoming holiday makers to the area.
