"Breakfast was well attended. Front desk staff were pleasant. Room was large (superior king). Bathroom door needs to be fixed so it closes properly. Nice afternoon tea offered in the afternoon with cookies."

"The Oakhurst in was definitely not up to my standards BUT the staff tried everything to make things more comfortable. Unfortunately the Inn was working off of a generator and couldn’t keep up with the heat outside. My biggest issue however was the fruit flies. They were everywhere and it really bothered me. Jake - night person in the lobby was my hero after AC shut down for the 3rd time and I decided to leave in the middle of the night."

"Everything was clean, and there was a verity of food for breakfast, it was a quiet room, but the comforter we had did not have cover and when we tried to call the phone was broken. Also the parking was a little expensive. But over all it was a nice visit though."

She didn't tell us (not does the website) that we were being charged $5 every day our vehicle was on the property [even the day you arrive and leave] they charge you a parking fee. It should be $15 we were charged $25!! The rooms could be cleaner. I always clean our room before we get comfortable. But this is a room that needed my attention. Everything else was good. The property was well maintained and clean. It was quiet. We did...

"Very safe and escape into the Virginia countryside I love the amenities with tennis courts golf course, walking trails, and a phenomenal fitness center with coffee and smoothie bar. The mill room has good bartenders with sports on TV and a well rounded menu It has dog friendly rooms and is family friendly and also good for business and solo travel"

"Easy access. Strange odor in the common area and slightly into the rooms. Only (3) towels provided for a room that sleeps (4). No towel/rug for the bathroom floor provided which creates a slippery situation - especially with kids! Bugs found in the pull out bed."
