"Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

"I have to say, the staff there is second to none. My only issue with the Wonder View Inn is that the ad on Expedia did not show the exterior of the Inn rooms, which are actually more like those one story “strip” motels where there is a group of units attached in a strip, each with a door to the parking lot. While that might appeal to some, it did not appeal to us. Add to that the fact that there were ants and a spiderweb in the bathroom, and we were not happy. That said, the morning after...
