"Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the walkway to the apartment was dirty, and there was a dead bird near the front door, which created a very unpleasant first impression. There was also a strong odor on the main level throughout our stay. The apartment itself could use some maintenance. The carpet was old and stained, and the insulation was poor, so outside noise was easily heard from inside. The TV was not working when we arrived and wasn’t fixed until the following...

"We were a family of 4 visiting friends in Mulranny. Curragh Hill is a beautiful home. Beautiful linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable. Stunning views from the lounge where we saw dolphins on our last evening. Weather was kind enough to use the sun loungers and use the patio set. "House was spotless, cosy and warm. The owner thought of little things you may forget to bring with you, condiments, cleaning stuff ect. The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. We had such a nice time there and hope to return next summer when the weather is better. "The only thing to let this hotel down was the breakfast. On both days it was overcooked. The first day it clearly had sat under the heat for a long time and on the second day it was only marginally better. Neither day saw a particulrly busy breakfast room. Its not a dealbreaker as everything else was amazing....and would recommend but a better breakfast experience would put the cherry on top!"
