"Breakfast menu was good, I had a stove and a hot plate in my suite none of them worked. "

"It was nothing like what was advertised. Definitely not worth the time or the price. Would def not return. Room is completely outdated, bed was tough and flimsy, the bedroom furniture was old, broken, and worn down. And the nooks and crannies was dirty and looked extremely old from the build up. Also, the wifi wasn’t consistent and kept going out. It took away from the trip."

"Great Hotel we enjoyed our stay ofcourse its dated but it met our requirements bed was comfy and thats all we really cared as we are out all day touring the island. It has small pool which is 24/7 loved how convenient that is to take a dip at 2am. They have access to private beach ⛱️ 2min walk just have to cross the road its locked 🔒 as its private. Staff is great 👍 i wont mind coming back again... especially if youre into touring the island vs staying at a resort.. if you dont mind...

"The mattresses are horrible, several elderly ppl I saw and heard complaining about the beds, I too felt the mattresses need to be changed. Otherwise Hotel Riu was great the entertainers, and pool staff, security was amazing. the shuttle company Shuttle Central the bus was in very poor condition."

"The hotel is very nice but has some issues that are not acceptable at this price point. The rooms are clean but could use some upgrades. The bathroom had cracked tiles, sink that drained very slow, one of the sinks didn’t dispense cold water, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the ocean front views are breath taking. We did have some issues with our door not locking and unlocking upon arrival and the hotel also forgot to pick us up after one of the tours we booked...

"This place has everything thing you need or want. No need to leave the resort. We traveled with a 12 and 13 year old, they loved it!"

"This spot is close to the airport, right across from the beach. They have a good restaurant on site. The accommodations are pretty basic, thin towels, AC doesn't exactly work. But people were friendly and its in a good location. Something to note is that taxis are fairly expensive ($25 or so even for a 10 minute drive) so if you want to see more than the immediate area it'll cost you."

"The staff was nice when we got there. During our stay we did have to look for staff to help us as one woman seemed to be running the cafe and the hotel. The room was over crowded with beds. There were unpatched holes in the walls in the room and bathroom. There was dirt and hair behind the toilet. There was not the proper remote for the tv and the curtain was falling off the wall. It was a lack of attention to detail. It was not worth the money. "
