"Hotel is new but a few big issues: Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful especially the lady manager in the restaurant, pool waitress and the young porter always went out of their way to help and make stay enjoyable. Room set up I found very weird, the shower, toilet and sink are all very separate. The glass shower door faces the bed directly, the toilet is around the other side and the sink is in the actual bedroom so if you need toilet in the night you will guarantee disturb others as have to turn light on in the room to wash hands which would also make noise. The big issue I have which is probably why I wouldn’t return is you can use facilities after check out but are then told you cannot use the showers and changing room in the spa. You can only use the open shower by the pool and change in toilet, so no privacy. "

"Got upgraded, room was big with an ensuite and a separate shower room. Ensuite had a leak from bath screen which made the floor very wet. Lovely views. Food standard for a resort this big, ate out most nights "

"The Domes of Elounda was a beautiful property. The facilities including pools were beautiful. The reason I give it an ok is due primarily to service and maintenance considering the price. I expected 5 stars and got 4. The first night our electric went out. They fixed that that night but the hot tub did not work until the next day. The bar servers were incredibly slow. Other service was slow as well due to most of the servers being new. The cart drivers were great as well as reception."

"This hotel is truely exceptional. From the stunning beaches and pool to the incredible staff, to the banquet style breakfast which changes daily and has something for everyone, I would absolutely recommend it. We travelled with our 11 month old and were thrilled so see so many other families with young babies too, but you’d never know as the resort is super private and quiet - doesn’t feel family friendly at all, but totally is. Could be my favourite hotel ever. Highly recommend. "

"We loved our time at the IHG- Intercontinental Crete. It’s centrally located in Agios Nikolaos to great food and shops. The hotel has valet parking and it was very easy to get in and out quickly. The staff could not have been more pleasant. From the moment we arrived, they were very attentive and kind. The breakfast was phenomenal and included with out stay. This saved us time and money looking outside of the hotel for breakfast each day. The hotel restaurant and bar are great too. We spent each night having a delicious meal or drink at the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything to make our stay feel like home. We loved our time! 10/10"

"Dora was amazing! She helped us plan some great day trips. More local traditional Greek food at the dinner buffet would have been appreciated. Our room was very damp and smelt musty. We only stayed for 3 nights but would have asked to be moved if staying longer. . "
