"Onsen very nice. Big luggage will have to carry downstairs, no elevator."

"冷房の効きは良かったです。"

"I have stayed in my fair number of hostels and guesthouses in Japan and this is my new favourite. The atmosphere was so nice, offering like family dinner traditional cooked and eaten together, is a beautifully maintained traditional property. Location was perfect and I highly reccomend, couple hundred metres from the 2nd last stop on the train up (lawson also at the station) and the bus to head down the opposite way is also only 600-700metres away (also 7/11 there). It made for an easy escape...

"施設はいいです。立地が少し悪いところなのでそれだけが気になります。"

"The room itself was clean (although a bit old - like the closet we weren’t really able to use). The bathroom was THE highlight. I wasn’t able to experience the onsen, but it looked great and they had a nice system to ensure patrons are comfortable (men attendance vs women). "No elevator, carrying luggages to 3rd floor with no staff to help was hard. Location is excellent 2 min from Gora station and cable car to major attraction in Hakone is a plus. Any food or bus stops are 12-14 min walk but the only way is through a very hard long stairs."
