"Our trip to The Sentinel was originally planned to celebrate my husband’s birthday, but somewhere along the way life, work, and the everyday hustle had started taking a toll on our marriage. We needed more than a getaway… we needed time to truly reconnect.
When I booked our stay at The Sentinel, I honestly had no idea just how special this place would be. The peace and serenity there was exactly what our hearts needed. The breathtaking views of the lake and mountains created the perfect atmosphere to slow down, breathe, and simply be together again.
Somewhere between the quiet mornings, the beautiful scenery, and uninterrupted time together… we found each other again. More importantly, we remembered exactly why we fell in love in the first place.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect, and recharge your soul, The Sentinel is truly something special."
"Beautiful views and large grassy area for the dog to run.
Older motel, but a renovated room and comfy bed.
This is a good jump off point to explore the area without the business of being right in town."
"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. If you have the time walk up the back trails to the waterfall. Beautiful. Thanks Rebecca. Hope to see you again next yr! "
