The chateau is absolutely gorgeous. One of the best B&B experiences we’ve had. Clement is a gem of a human being and very hospitable. Everything was super clean and comfy. Great beds, excellent shower, fantastic breakfast, beautiful property for strolling around, convenient location next to the highway and the airport. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is an exquisitely beautiful property inside and out. It was like staying in a castle updated of course with well appointed furnishings, bathroom fixtures, etc. Our room was a large sized suite, the breakfast was very good, the grounds are beautiful and walkable, and the location quiet but a short driving distance from Aix-en-Provence and the airport at Marseilles. Perfect in every way.

Beautiful chateau in great location

The chateau is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished. The grounds are wonderful and we loved having our breakfast there. Clement was the perfect host and very welcoming. We used the chateau as our base as it is very close to Aix en Provence. It was a lovely quiet place to go back to after our visits to the many villages and towns nearby. Highly recommended.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had one night before our flight back home and we are so happy we stayed here! Driving up the drive way we were in shock of how beautiful it was. The host was so kind and answered all our questions about the 300 year old property, all the bathrooms have been fully renovated and all bedrooms have ac. The family dog will greet you looking for scratches who is just the sweetest. I would go back to France just to stay longer at this Chateau, amazing property, kind host and fantastic breakfast in the morning, you wont regret it!

We had an excellent experience at Château de Saint-Girons. The property is beautiful and provides a feeling of Aix and Provence that is not replicated in a hotel. The pool and backyard provided a restful oasis. Having breakfast in the yard was a great way to start the day. Just hanging out in the yard under the trees was relaxing. The bed (and the bathroom) was comfortable all amenities were excellent. Clement was a gracious, attentive and thoughtful host and we had an excellent time. Clement was also a great resource for planning day trips and restaurant recommendations. I would stay there again, should we return to Aix 🙏

A nice setting. It was a bit messy due to the high winds with leaves & debris scattered about. I’m sure that it would look nice when the weather was calmer and they’d had a chance to catch up on yard work which would have been pointless during the windy conditions. The overall state of the stately home was more rustic & worn. For the price paid, we expected a more substantial breakfast and more modern amenities such as the bathroom, lighting, power outlets, etc. The location was good with easy access to both Aix-en-Provence and restaurants and services in the immediate area. The host and his family were friendly & charming.

A magical oasis in Aix

What a gracious host family, what a delightful stay! Every comfort is lovingly prepared, such thoughtful care in each detail (from the delicious La Chambre confitures at the gorgeous breakfast, to the tea, coffee and calissons in our room). Clement shared special recommendations that made our day trips extra special. Outstanding elegance personified in guest rooms and common spaces. Pure magic and ease that exemplifies the best of Aix.

Truly a beautiful property. The suite we had was gorgeous, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The host was friendly, helpful and gave us excellent suggestions for our next adventure. A shout out to the sweet boxer, Jax, who was a big part of our enjoyment as well. The breakfast was delish and plentiful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This place is amazing, so beautiful inside and out. Inside it looks like a cool museum, but is also very cozy at the same time. Very clean and comfortable in every way. Outside is an incredible as well and eating a tasty breakfast in the yard is a dream.. Clement and his wife are wonderful hosts, so very friendly. Clement even drove my wife and I to a pharmacy when we had a minor emergency. They have a large Boxer dog that is very sweet and friendly. Even my wife who is afraid of large dogs wasn’t for a moment afraid of this one. I have no hesitation giving my highest rating to this place.

Superb place! A great experience staying in a chateaux! Clement and family were friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the whole chateaux and the compound were just beautiful! The breakfast was also great! Sharing table with other guests made us had some conversations during breakfast. The rhubarb with geranium jam from local was beautiful! I spent an afternoon reading in the living room with wine I purchased from the self service bar. Clement was also kind to share his great wine while they had some event. Would definitely love to come back!

A nice chateau with pretty gardens in the back. Room and bathroom were very nice and clean. Host was pleasant. The only down side was it is right next to the highway and you can hear the traffic. Be prepared to carry bags up stairs.

Lebende Geschichte, toller Gastgeber!

Wir waren als Familie für zwei Nächte im April dort. Das Schloss, ein Gebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, wurde liebevoll restauriert. In jedem Raum atmet man Geschichte. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dort zu Gast sein zu dürfen und die Highlights wie das Kaminzimmer oder den riesigen Park zu genießen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage ist gut, man ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in Aix en Provence. Den Verkehr von der großen Straße hört man etwas, wir haben es aber nicht als störend empfunden.

c'est avec plaisir que nous avons séjourné au chateau de St Girons. 3 éléments ont guidés notre choix - la proximité avec la gare - les notes des précédents - le fait de pouvoir recharger la tesla Je préconise très fortement cet endroid qui permet pour une soirée de se retrouver a une autre époque. Ca change des chaines traditionnelles ou tout est aseptisé. En plus le jeune couple entretiens l'héritage du passé des parents de Clément. Très beau parc avec piscine a l'arrière de la maison. Vivement qu'on revienne en juin -)
