"Fredericks Lodge is an oasis in Kumasi. It is a convenient distance from the airport and is more of a boutique hotel. It is impeccably clean with comfortable beds and high quality linen. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was just what we needed to start our day with a selection of Ghanaian and European options. This is my second time staying there because it is so welcoming and safe."

"my favorite place to stay in kumasi"

"Pool wasn’t usable, dirty sheets and pillow. Overall the place needs renovation."

"Clean room, staff awesome and business-friendly."

"The stay was good, but not impressive. The staff was good and service was ok. "

"Management was excellent especially whenever the city experience electricity issues, they made sure the power plant runs 24/7. Kind and respectful staff members."

The place was clean and safe. There's always someone at the gate. The neighborhood was somewhat walkable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The distance from the city center is not accurate. It seems further than what is listed because it took us 30-40 minutes to get to Kejetia market. Overall,...

"We had such a wonderful time. Our host was very amazing and hospitable. One tip is to come with an SUV or a higher vehicle due to the conditions of the roads (please note this is in 2026, if reading in the future). Absolutely would love to return."
