Not The Best Place
The night clerk could not locate our reservation and even after reading a copy of the confirmation, he just shook his head. He then offered us a room, but took my credit card and ran it several times before handing us a key. He met us at our room and opened the door to it. The TV was already on, but all snowy, no picture. Never did get a picture on it. The bathroom was a mess and the tub/shower was something we didn't even want to be near. The bathroom floor looked as if it had never been new or clean. The clerk had to get us some toilet tissue and there were no other amenities that revealed themselves. The floor in the room was carpeted but we kept finding small pieces of glass and something else that made going barefoot impractical. We didn't dare look under the bed. The rooms are heated from a central location and while the temp was tolerable, it really needed to be a bit warmer to be truly comfortable. The clerk was kind enough to provide a portable electric heater and extra blankets. However, we will not be staying there again.
