"This is a chilled and friendly apart hotel with great food and even better friendly and personable staff and service. Despite it being the middle of August, the place never felt busy and there were always a choice of sunbeds. Taxis were easy enough to get, but you couldn’t really walk anywhere so you may wish to consider a car if you want to get out and about every day. "

"Einfach ein traumhaftes Hotel! Tolle Anlage mit vielen Pools, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und fantastisches Essen! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist riesig und Eierspeisen kann man am Tisch bestellen. Der Ort strahlt einfach so eine Ruhe aus. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen."

"Our stay at the Ionian Aura Apartments was nothing short of superb from start to finish. Yannis and his staff were so friendly, extremely helpful. The apartments were spotlessly cleaned each day. Set away from the centre of Tsilvili (10 minute stroll) makes the setting peaceful both day and night. Very highly recommended (10/10). We would have no hesitation in booking again. Andy & Zoe "

"Wir waren vom 07.07.2025 - 12.07.2025 im Hotel zu Gast. Die Lage des Hotel Varres ist idyllisch gelegen umringt von viel Grün und Natur. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich von freundlichem Personal gereinigt. Das Frühstücksangebot war reichhaltig und von allem etwas dabei. Von Aufschnitt, Rührei, Speck, Brot, Toast, bis zu Gemüse und Obst. Der Pool war sauber und angenehm zu benutzen. Man konnte tagsüber bis spät in den Abend hinein am Pool Speisen bestellen und Getränke ordern....

"Elena the manager was very welcoming and always on hand to offer any help or assistance. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The bathroom was a wetroom and so once the shower had been used the whole of the bathroom was covered in water. The balcony was not large enough for 2 people to use at a time as there was only enough space for chairs to placed sideways and would require moving the furniture around for a 2nd person to use the balcony. "Expedia luxury Private Transfer didn’t arrive so we were left stranded in a Greek airport. The telephone number on the voucher was Netherlands and no answer ! Very poor but hotel was excellent "

"Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again."
