"Such a great location looking out was so relaxing. There were so many places to sit drink coffee and relax. It was hard to leave and the breakfast was spectacular. I would stay here longer.1 day was not enough."

It wasn't too bad but slightly inconvenient. The only thing I would strongly suggest is to provide better sun blocking curtains. "We had an unforgettable stay at Skáld Akureyri. The hotel is beautifully furnished, and the attention to detail in the decor is stunning. Our room was spacious with plenty of room to move around comfortably. The bed provided an excellent night's sleep, but the real highlight was the heated flooring—such a luxurious touch that made the space feel warm and inviting. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a special, hotel experience in North Iceland!"

"The room was quite modern and comfortable and the hot tub was a lovely added bonus with the beautiful views from the balcony. However, we were unable to find the reception as indicated in emails. We wanted extra towels but had no way to contact as we did not have the ability to phone with our cellulars. It would have been nice to have been able to speak with someone in person at some point during our stay."

"We had a good stay here. The kitchen was a fully-equipped industrial kitchen with a very efficient dishwasher and lots of utensils, as well of heaps of space to sit in the common area. There was also free coffee and tea. Plenty of bathrooms were provided and they were clean and comfortable. The staff were also friendly to us.
