The rule for pool usage and allowed swimming suites changed and seemed that people use swimming pools wearing their regular clothes. Instead of fresh squeezes they offer packages juices that taste like plastic. "Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The biggest issue is that the resort is extremely overcrowded. There are never enough chairs at the pool or beach, so you have to wake up very early just to reserve seats for your family. Even then, you may return to find another family sitting there, leading to unnecessary arguments. The restaurants are just as crowded. "We just came back from a 4 day stay at Seven Seasons at the end of May 2024. El Alamein is an hour away from Alexandria, which wasn’t something we hadn’t fully realised until we got there.
