"Incredible stay in this old historic palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The amenities were plentiful, the morning buffet was delicious, views of the city and the Nile River, it's close to lots of great restaurants and activities on El Gazirah. We would 100% stay here again. We also stayed at the Sofitel which was much more younger crowd (our age), trendy, and also beautiful, so just keep in mind this Marriott tends towards the slightly older refined crowd, rather than young and hip."

"The hotel was wonderful and the staff extremely helpful. The concierge staff, especially Hussein, went out of their way to assist. The buffets were very well laid out with good variety. We had breakfast included with our stay and also ended up having dinner there as well. In all a great experience."

"Excellent 5 stars hotel from every aspect, Top property well maintained, but above all the best staff in all areas of the hotel from the front desk to restaurants to coffee shop to the pool! It is like my time share property in Cairo, excellent massage by the pool by professional and polite Kamar , excellent hookah and drinks at the bar by the pool and panoramic view. IN SUMMARY MY FAVORITE HOTEL IN CAIRO FOR LAST 10 YEARS !"
