"Great for value place where the host even helped us park our car into their secure parking lot and helped us retrieve our car. Would have preferred if there was a code to get in so we didn't have to communicate our check in time. Appreciated the AC, common kitchen. We didn't know how to use the hot water but realized afterwards that there was hot water."

"Recommended hotel close to San Jose airport in Costa Rica, perfect for our late flight arrival. Vicky the owner loves on-site and was so helpful and attentive. Breakfast was enjoyable and set us up for the day and the rooms where clean and tidy.
We were initially in Room 8 which we found to be on the noisy side due to the road, however this will be the same for many hotels in Alajuela in sure. Vicky was so kind she offer for us to change rooms for our second night which was perfect, decorated...

"Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. "The property is extremely dated! We had lizard in our room. The outdoor view is beautiful, but beds are not as comfortable and there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing! We only stayed for a night and that was okay. I wouldn’t have been able to stay here more than that. The grounds are beautiful, however the property most definitely needs an upgrade!"
