"Very helpful and friendly staff who let me check out later because I had to go out and couldn't take my cat with me. Room comfortable and tidy with a good size fridge, microwave and mini coffee maker. Hotel is situated in a quiet area on.the former airforce base and has plenty of parking. You can unload your car outside the block your staying in and then park in the lot further up. There's a restaurant nearby but I didn't visit. Could do with some disposable cutlery and plates for any meals...

"The Dutch Inn is an older property but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The carpets have been removed and the floors were very clean. I went barefoot in the tile bathroom and was comfortable doing that. To me, cleanliness and comfy bed are more important than shiny updated fixtures. The pool was closed for repairs but we weren't planning to swim anyway. Each room has a mini-split heat pump so it's easy to regulate the temperature to your liking. I'd recommend the Dutch Inn if...

"Clean cabins, older but comfortable. Good location, short drive to beach and adjacent to Green Gables Heritage site. Nice heated outdoor pool. Only one issue was with our check in. We booked two cabins and one was ready when we arrived just after 3:30 but despite saying the other would be ready soon it wasn’t ready until 4 hours later."

Each day a different and delicious home cooked breakfast (a Surprise) served beautifully with fruit and tea/coffee + pastry’s & more.
