Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Missoula Airport
6/10 Okay
"The hotel looks nice on the surface but the attention to details is lacking. When we got to our room the staff had left the deadbolt engaged and the door open to where anyone could have pushed on the door and entered. One of the large lamps had a burned out lightbulb. The conditioner was completely empty. The seal at the bottom of the shower was missing or not working correctly and the bathroom was covered in water after each shower. At breakfast the first morning English muffins were set out that had mold spots on them.
No matter what setting we set our heat to the room stayed at exactly 70 degrees and blew cold air. After coming back from being outside in the cold or after the pool it was frustrating to have no warm air at all.
Finally after check out I received an email asking for a review only if I had a great stay and if not to reach out directly to the managers. This behavior makes me question the overall reviews of this hotel and wonder if others had similar issues. If management had reached out after night 1 I would have been happy to talk to them directly, but after I've completely check out its too late. "
"Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Breakfast was provided and whilst the choice of hot food was limited there was a selection of different fruit, pancakes and pastries. Plenty of hot coffee and fruit juices, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The suites are well fitted out with a large screen tv and very comfortable bed with soft pillows and sheets."
"I do not recommend this location. It felt more like I lived in an apartment building. Stayed there for three nights and the first night they placed me in a room adjacent to the elevator. I asked to be moved before I stayed the first night and they were kind enough to accommodate me. They moved me to a room that had connecting room. The occupants of that adjacent room were very loud and had no regard to others staying at the hotel. Lots of laughing shouting and singing. I complained to the front desk about the seeing at 11:00 p.m. and they said they would deal with it. But the next night it was the same thing. As it turns out many of the people staying there are construction workers from the project going on next door. My room constantly smelled of the aroma from their cooking. This is an extended stay Hotel with a kitchenette so I expect they would be cooking. But the scent was nothing appealing to me. If you want to have a good night stay then you need to avoid this place. This place is more of an apartment building. It seemed like there was overcrowding in many of the rooms.
The hotel room felt clean overall. The location was fine. And the staff were fine. But my employees who have been staying at the Motel 6 next door have had zero complaints and it's about half the price.
I want to add that they do not have an ice maker and the ice maker in my full size refrigerator did not work even after they worked on it. The only breakfast option was pre-ordering Frozen breakfast food"
"The room wasn’t ready for us when we checked in at 6pm. Needed to be cleaned still. The pool was clean. Very spacious clean room when we received the key. We did stay and fly; left our car in the parking lot and took the hotel shuttle to the airport. Very convenient. Will do again."
"The room was dirty. Microwave didnt work. The restaurant was closed and general store no longer or gift shop no longer. The parking lot full of holes. Rough on vehicles. One of beds was not made up. No hot water. It took forever to get hot water in the shower. The bsth sink no hot water. Plus the water just trickle out of the faucet. The coffe pot carafe needs to be cleaned.
The hot springs was nice. The restroom in the hot springs area needs to be clean and need toilet paper. We had to go extra mileage to find food to eat. The continental breakfast i am not sure.
The website needs to be updated. Because it is fraud advertisement.
