"We traveled back to the area where we used to live for a family visit. The room was a good size, clean, the beds were comfortable, and we were able to sleep reasonably well as it was fairly quiet. I'd say one of the best hotels as far as noise is concerned. It's free parking, situated in close proximity to the hotel and is adequate for the size of the hotel. The only complaint we had was the breakfast. It's supposed to be a hot breakfast but, the only item that's hot is if you make it yourself like waffles in the provided waffle iron, and oatmeal in the microwave. The omelettes (cheese and not sure what the second was)and breakfast sandwich (1 variety) was wrapped in plastic in the refrigerator that you had to heat in the microwave. In addition, the refrigerator was a small dorm room type and didn't hold much so, food ran out several times as people were coming down to breakfast. There were no utensils that I was able to find. The breakfast room itself was clean and a decent size, again for the size of the hotel. Overall, I gave our stay a good rating, but would have rated it higher if not for the breakfast. The manager needs to go continental or actually commit and do a proper hot breakfast in appropriate warming steam trays, etc. "

"Property was under construction (hopefully for renovation). Material was piled up around the building and the building had many signs of disrepair. "

"food was cold. Room temperature was good. Room 207 should never have been booked. Bathroom was terrible, caulking was terrible smeared on inside of door. Tile on floor was cracked, stains on shower floor, switch for exhaust fan would not stay on and paint stains on rug and even drops on desk chair. No guide on TV and copy of channel list was incorrect. Ice machine not working on first or second floor. Elevator sound and felt like it was about to stop working. By far worst Hampton or any other hotel I have stayed at, did not get what I paid for. The good news the staff was great! Got in late Friday night and didn't notice all problems and too late to switch rooms. Next morning talked to desk clerk Emerson and explain that I want to exchanged rooms when I return to hotel later that evening. She very professional and apologized for the room stating that a new room would be assigned when I returned. She was so efficient and helpful I did not feel the need to talk to the manager. "

"Our towels were damp, but the hotel gave us fresh clean towels with no problem. Did advise that bathroom could have been cleaner. But over all they were good."

"The staff was friendly!! When we got to our room we had no toilet paper then the toilet was messed up we had to call for a plunger at 3am and again at 10:15 this morning then they left the plunger in front of the room door. Beds are very uncomfortable and the tv wouldn’t turn up or off smh. Our check out was at 11am at 10:52 someone was coming in our room and we were still getting ready to leave no knock or anything very uncomfortable and unprofessional…Yikes!!! "
