"Hotel was great. Didn’t use all of the facilities or entertainment as we were out and about most of the time. Entertainment area was busy but relaxing in the evening. Pool is excellent and no bother getting a sunlounger. Spacious rooms and good air con! 300 euro or pounds cash security deposit for groups. We didn’t have to pay it though - be mindful you might be asked to if a few of you check in together. "

"We recently stayed at VidaMar on a

vacation and it was truly paradise in Portugal! The entire staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; they cared for us like friends. "The good: Spacious, has all the basic amenities including laundry, kitchen is reasonably well stocked, spacious bathrooms, spacious bedrooms. The pool is a bit cold but nice to have and the pool deck is spacious to lay out and/or to eat lunch/dinner. Close to beach. The bad: Very subpar/dated furniture - in fact the whole unit looked empty for the most part. Beds were VERY firm. There were ANTS! Tons of small red/black ants in the bedroom and in the kitchen/dining area. We told the resort...
