"After getting a bit lost with Apple Maps we arrived via a country lane with google maps. Still very conveniently located a short drive from M25 and Hertfordshire zoo. Apple Maps seem to take you to the other side of carriageway, beware. This didn’t feel like a hotel, really quirky with lovely surroundings. Very clean and modern. Loved the big old trees in the grounds. Tea & coffee bags in the rooms were lovely quality and nice mugs. Toiletries smelt lovely too. Only issue we had was I couldn’t turn hot tap on, was so stiff that my son had to do it and the bathroom door stuck. These were small issues for a very very lovely stay. I will be back. "

"Only had a short stay but it was great. I checked in late at night after a concert in London, and was leaving early in the morning to fly home. The room lovely, spacious and clean. The member of staff who checked me in was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The shuttle service to and from the airport was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again!"

"Did not like the check in. Only told after by staff, if it's an Expedia booking, self check in does not work. Ridiculous!"

"Stayed here as we’re going to a concert in London but did not want to pay the extortionate London prices! The room was modern and large. Good shower pressure and a lovely, comfy bed. Lots of shops in the immediate area. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice of hot and cold dishes and fresh fruit. Would recommend if in the area"

"This hotel is in a good location with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. It is a great value for money. The rooms are spacious and it was great to have iron, fan and hairdryer in the room. If there was aircon I would give it 5 stars in all areas. However it won't refrain me from returning. I will come back again. "
