"Avoid a room above the bar because of the noise. I think it must get its 3 star rating from the rooms in the new areas. The food was very mediocre. For food I would recommend The Fox Hole which is around a 5 minute walk. The setting saved my stay because it was lovely to sit by the river. The staff were very nice."

"We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared."

"The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight.
