"We loved that this is an independent hotel and small business. The owner is a local and cares about Montclair. The interior is decorated brilliantly and has a clever motif. "It was a WONDERFUL stay (stayed there before). The front desk person (Mike) always makes my stayed pleasant."

"Valet parking only. Check-in was easy and staf was friendly. Room was nice, clean, and spacious. You have to pay for a breakfast buffet. It was ok, nothing special although the staff there was very friendly. Check-out was quick."

"The hotel did not inform me upon checking in that they would automatically be charging me a $10 fee for WiFi, and they would not waive the fee after I checked out. The hotel was clean and our room was nice, and the property was located in a great spot. We had drinks from the bar and the bartender seemed irritable and stressed, and our drinks were not well prepared. Overall, it was an okay stay. "

"This is a good location and reasonably priced. Room was clean and spacious. Only small problem was checking in, as there was only one person at front desk and he was tied up on the phone with what sounded like a difficult customer. We waited several minutes before he could get us checked in, which was efficient. Otherwise fine."
