"Staff was super friendly. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Access to the entrance/lobby requires them to buzz you in, instead of your room key. Was an issue for us returning to the room after spending a night out. The rooms are very sparse. But we lucked out with what floor we were on. And the direction we were facing for a great view of down Ottawa. For the price we paid. I would do it again. "

"We had to change room because the first one was not clean, in particular the dirty bathroom floor where we found bunch of hairs. I requested a changed floor, just in case... The corridor carpet outside the second0 room was covered with trash. Although this new room seemed ok, we would not trust it cleanest after these experiences.. The hotel appears to be in a noticeable state of decline due to insufficient maintenance and repair investment. Service was uneven, and staff often seemed to be learning procedures on the fly. The overall experience did not reflect the standards we expected."

"Short stay, so did not get to use the amenities. Room was fine, but bland and right next to construction. They did provide ear plugs, but I couldn’t use those since I didn’t want to miss my alarm."

"Once again, my favourite place in Ottawa. Service is always excellent, rooms are comfortable. Location insuperable. Then only issue is that they require a system that identifies repeat clients. Would be a lovely addition if you welcome back frequent guests."
