"Hmmm .....not quite what we expected for the price and from description online. Old style hotel, small rooms and even smaller bathroom, thin walls, neighbours on balcony smoking which fills room with smoke. No Aircon so you have to have window open. Attention to detail in room was very poor - light shade falling apart and fill of dead flies. Towels thin and grey. Breakfast however was very good. They are very busy with e-bike groups so I guess they won't worry too much about poor reviews....

"Beautiful location, very clean room. Great view of the Moselle river and the surrounding spectacular landscape. Great dining and breakfast. Unfortunately we did not dine at the nicely set up white-linen Restaurant except breakfast. We were unaware (or did not read the fine prints) that we should have called ahead if we are arriving after 6 PM on the first night of check-in. We arrived late due to late start from Frankfurt. But the owners were kind enough to check us in. The only major draw back...
