"Definitely needs refurbishing. Old fashioned keys, no room safe, window security very poor and an en-suite had basin that moved as you touched it. Balcony felt dirty and had another room’s outside light shining all night into my room. Some of the electric lights in my room did not work. The swimming pool was good with an amazing view (but seating area around it had little shade) even if noisey from traffic. Pool bar open until 7pm, but bar downstairs then not open. I thought I had bought...

"Villa Angela is a very beautiful hotel and it sits high up above Taormina in the mountains with incredible views of Mount Etna, and the Harbour. Everything was very clean, well kept and luxurious. The restaurant was delicious and the staff extra helpful. The pool was amazing. Truly a five star experience!"

When the tram is running its easy to get to downtown at moment buses do the journey from nearby square, easy wak.Mainland Ferry terminal is very close by, cautioun though if you have a big luggage take a taxi the 60 steps up to the road are a good climb."

"Hallo, ich war allein für eine Woche in diesem guten Hotel. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Strand, was absolut toll ist. Die Zimmer haben Klimaanlage und sind wirklich sauber, sie wurden auch am Sonntag gereinigt. Das Frühstück war auch gut mit Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Rüherei, Müsli und Säften. Die Rezeption war immer anwesend und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Komme bestimmt wieder! Viele Grüße Claudia"

My husband and i stayed there for two nights and we fell in love with everything from the service to the people, they were just so hospitable and i can not say enough about the breakfast.. the best from all our stays in Sicily. "This hotel was outstanding. Cool retro vibe with a private beach in one of Sicily's most amazing locations - Taormina! The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The welcome fruit basket was a beautiful was to start our stay. The restaurant provided top of the line food and service. The breakfast buffet provided a little something for everyone in the family. And dining under the tree canopy while staring at the water was divine. We would love to come back and stay even longer."
