"Lovely retreat, be aware it is miles down a dusty track which can be difficult to find at first. Facilities are lovely and was not crowded when we went in July. "

"A beautifully maintained property, room very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Charming and elegant owners, justifiably proud of there home and business. A petting 'zoo' of lovely birds and animals is included in their land. Dogs were welcomed and good safe walking is immediately outside the gate. Lovely breakfast included. Nearby town did not have much to offer but we ate well there."

Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. "

"A wonderful place to stay around all things farm! The manager was most informative about the farm, crops, Beja, places to eat & visit in town. He shared information on special things to do in the Algarve as we headed further south. A gracious sincere host who took time from his busy schedule to share valuable information with us. I would highly recommend a night or 2 at this lovely property. Bonus, the breakfast was a variety of fresh and delicious foods! "

"It was a relaxing place to rest after a long drive from Porto city. Surrounded by farmland it was a quiet and serene, Staff was professional. Breakfast was great...ample choice and variety of delicious fresh food. Although we did not utilize, there are two swimming pools available. Added bonus were the farm animals....great for all ages. "Fabulous location, set in vineyards and olive groves. Ended up in one of the suites overlooking the pool, which was wonderful. Restaurant menu was varied and the food was good. Great staff, who also arranged a visit to the Santa Vitoria wine cellars for us."

"It is an amazing place Done in a very simplistic style but ever so stylish and in such good taste. Paradise to rest, enjoy the sun the quiet pool and the tennis court or just to go on long walks. Joaquim and Sonia are the best hosts possible. The breakfast they served kept us at the table for longer than we wanted due to the wonderful food. I highly recommend this place. "
