"Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom. Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc. Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big. Breakfast did not have all items listed on menu - but didnt twig till after (but have to say lots of pastries and...

"Pool/sauna facilities over crowded. Extortionate bar fees. Conflicting information about availability of food at the bar, one member of staff said we could order up until 9pm, another said we couldn't order 'because there was a party of 40 in'. Very tight parking spaces. It was clean and tidy but no better than a Premier Inn because we were unable to use the pool and sauna facilities, which were the reason for booking this particular hotel. Would not book again."

"The hotel is fabulous, the staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean and luxurious. The only thing that could be improved is to fit air conditioning in the rooms. At night the room became quite stuffy and it's not possible to open patio doors at night. Apart from that - amazing"

"Absolutely perfect stay as a solo traveler. The hosts were considerate and thoughtful and the room was spotless. Also a very nice English breakfast in the morning with plenty of options."
