"Everything about our anniversary weekend was amazing. The hotel, the staff, the bar & restaurant, all exceptional. The reason for 3 stars is I was sold a “partial ocean view room” and I got a frosted glass slider, bolted shut, overlooking the buildings HVAC systems. I could have booked 15,000 rooms at a beachfront on the grandstand but opted for quieter and off the strip in MB. Even the front desk staff said my reservation was extremely misleading. "Great location & staff just wish it had elevators & easier Access to the pool!"

"Got there a little earlier than expected, so I decided to give them a call and ask if a room was available. Worker name Pam, was very rude and had an awful attitude. We were able to get a room, but once we got there the attitude was worse with the huffing and puffing. She might’ve rough morning but she was VERY nasty & I didn’t appreciate that at all. Definitely not going back at all!"

"The room itself was clean, but the pool and fitness center are closed which was not advertised. They’re “renovating” so there are boxes and messes everywhere. Very little parking, the elevator looks like something out of a horror movie, very old, very scary. The hall carpets are dirty and it basically looks like they’ve bandaided everything to stay open while renovating. "I would not recommend staying at Bermuda Sands. Our experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The property appeared old, outdated, and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere felt run-down and uninviting. Customer service was also lacking. The staff rarely made eye contact or seemed interested in assisting guests, and even at checkout there was little effort to engage or address concerns. "The hotel was moldy and had mildew. Was not clean at all. We complained about the original room they gave of because of the rotten smell and got an attitude from the front desk. They did change our room to a slightly better room but it was still nasty "

"Upon arrival there was a slew of shady undesirables hanging around. Alot of loud noises and music coming from other rooms. The elevator was covered in urine and i spent about 10 minutes trying to get the key to work with the door. Once inside the entire place reeked of mildew and mold. Half of the lights wouldn’t turn on. I immediately left and went to another hotel where i felt safe and clean. DO NOT take your family here under any circumstance."

"If you can get through the smell of marijuana and people yelling down the hallway, pounding on doors from midnight until 1 AM, you will find yourself in a room that was in disrepair. There were no plug-ins in the bathroom, half the lighting worked, there were stains on the main door and headboards of the beds, a broken chair at the desk, and water damage on the wall by the main window. The positive is that even though the beds were small, they were comfortable, and there was a nice 55-inch TV....

"The beach was under construction during our stay, which certainly wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the crew worked around the clock making it hard to sleep sometimes. Had to go to the desk & trade our dirty towels for clean ones, they don’t provide housekeeping services or bring clean towels to the room. Not a bad place, just wanted something cheap on the beach & that’s what we got"

"We got there and it looked nice on the outside, but it looks like it hasn’t had maintenance in years. Everything is broken or cracked or peeling from the carpet to the ceiling. The inside smells terrible, and theres no noise control. The room was spacious, but the AC was damaged and inconsistent, the pillows were lumpy or brick hard and the “blanket” was a dollar store fleece blanket in between 2 sheets. And theres cockroaches:)"
