"The staff were magnificent, all very helpful especially amen in the breakfast area. Food was great high quality with a good selection of European and Indian dishes. The facilities in the room were good with access to English language films and sport. It was a bit away from everywhere else and there could have been better facilities on the beach as the sea did look inviting. On the whole thumbs up all round. It is what I expect from a 5 star hotel. "

"If you think this is part of MGM group, it is NOT. It is a local MGM group that has taken the global brand and monetizing on it. The property by itself is not really bad. But they rate themselves as MGM global brand and charge premium like a 5 star Hotels and that is where the problem is. If they charge 1000 - 2000 rupees, $20 - $50 per night, it is not bad. But anything more than $100 per night is too much for this place. I actually wanted to cancel my second night. But the hotel did not allow...

"This hotel was great for a short stay. The hotel itself lacks a 4star luxury feeling, but it has more of a small boutique hotel feel. It's also a great location. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe.
