"Hotel and staff are really friendly ensuring that we had a great stay. Great location right near jungle beach, which the staff offer a free shuttle service to. The breakfast is really nice and the property overlooks great views of Galle lighthouse. PickMe offers cheap Tuk Tuks/taxis to unawatuna/ galle. Overall had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend! "

Our room (Jasmine) had a direct panoramic view of Bird Lake and we saw many different species of birds as well as small animals including chipmunks, water monitors, geckos (and a cobra one one day but soon banished by the staff...). "Great location, easy walk to the beach, a little bit noisy but the noise quietens down by 10pm at this hotel, cannot say the same for the neighbouring bars. Loved the location and swimming in the sea was fantastic which meant not having a pool was fine. Staff are super friendly and made our stay with them all the more enjoyable."
